You can find many Reno jobs for entry level workers. There are many different reasons why people move to this exciting city. Nevada has legalized gambling, of course, but there is so much more to see and do

You will find many entry level jobs in the hospitality industry. If you don’t have any previous experience, you may find it hard to find Reno jobs that have to do with card dealers, but you can find many casino jobs to start out with. There are many positions doing basic janitorial work, doing dishes, busing tables, and cleaning hotel casino rooms. You can work as a bar back, helping bar tenders keep their alcohol well stocked, and even doing front desk work. Many of these positions start out as part time work, because there are so many other people just like you who are also settling down here, but an ambitious person can move up the ladder to full time positions quickly.

There are also plenty of good jobs in sales and distribution, and there are many different retail stores accepting applications, not just for sales, but also for stocking shelves, cashiering, and delivery drivers. It is a good idea to have a driver’s license, because there are many different local and regional driving opportunities in and around the Reno area.

In order to get the best entry level jobs, you really need to have a high school diploma, or the equivalent. Those that don’t are going to have a harder time finding good paying jobs, even at entry level, that are more than minimum wage. If you have experience and education in accounting, web design, and computer software or programming, there are ample positions available.

Because this area is growing by leaps and bounds, you can even find many entry level Reno jobs in the construction industry. Not only are people moving here more and more, but many of these people are environmentally conscious, meaning that if you have an inclination for alternative energy systems, solar, or wind power, you can get into this field fairly easily. If you are interested in working for yourself, this is a prime location for starting a number of different Green businesses.

In order to get the best kinds of entry level jobs, here in Reno or anywhere else for that matter, it is a good idea to write up a good resume. These days, almost every employer not only requires a resume, but also does most of their hiring through the internet. You too can find just about any kind of job in Reno using online services like Monster, and other job listing agencies, as well as websites that can help you put together a comprehensive resume, one that will stand out from the long list of other applicants. If you want to find a good job in the Reno area, it is a good idea to look up listings online, find the right one for you, and do some research on the company, or business ahead of time.

Reno is located nine hours and a hundred light years away from Sin City. Reno’s in Northern Nevada, in the high desert, and the temperatures aren’t as extreme as Las Vegas. It snows sometime in the winter in Reno, but usually melts within a day or two, which means you can hit trails throughout the Reno area (called the Truckee Meadows), in almost all seasons. Summertime usually doesn’t stay that hot for that long, and the summer evenings are warm enough for a great ride but not so warm that it feels to hot to exercise.

Up in the mountains, there are wonderful summertime trails that circle Lake Tahoe and can take you just about anywhere, from Tahoe’s beaches to the Desolation Wilderness and back again. Mountain biking in Reno is an awesome experience because there are so many different types of trails available, from high Sierra to high desert, and you are so close to so many trails, it’s easy to reach a new trail every day if you’d like. There are flat trails along the Truckee River to arduous trails up in the mountains, but they all will draw you and you bike back again and again.

Even better, there are many urban trails within 5 to 10 minutes of downtown Reno. Some climb the foothills of Peavine Peak on the northern boundaries of the city, while others climb the canyons and flats of Northwest Reno, the Steamboat Ditch, and South Reno. You can literally bring your mountain bike with you to work and get in a ride when you get done for the day.

Mountain biking in Reno is fun for the entire family, and there are many bike shops in Reno that will help you find everything to begin your mountain biking adventure. If there’s anything to remember about biking in the area, it’s the elevation. Reno is almost a mile high, and Tahoe starts at about 6,000 feet and goes up from there. Breathing may be a little bit different in these high altitudes, so you may need to take it easy when you first begin to ride, but you’ll get used to the thinner air in no time.

Another great thing about Reno mountain biking is there are many bike lanes on city streets. You can follow these bike lanes to mountain biking trails, making it easier to get around on your bike when you visit Reno. Reno really is America’s Adventure Place, and the mountain biking trails that surround Reno really start you off in the right adventure direction!

Reno is considered as one of the best places to live, relocate a family or to launch a business or career. Reno Sparks offers an ideal location because of its proximities to many major cities of Nevada. It also mentions the six important industries in Greater Reno Tahoe with the recruiting priorities like advanced logistics & manufacturing, alternative energy, Business & Financial services, Life Sciences & Software.

Staying at Reno with its beautiful location and infrastructure is a privilege in itself. There are different types of homes like single family homes, multi-family homes, commercial real estate properties, etc. All types of properties are available at Reno as per the requirements of the people.

Searching homes at Reno is not a tough job nowadays. Due to the online solutions like the websites over the internet dealing with the property, it has become quite easier to search homes at Reno. These websites have the detailed listings of different properties along with the snap shots & best pricing ever available, which makes it easier for the people to select their homes for stay.

Starting from the family requirements to the commercial ones, these websites deal with different profiles of properties suitable for everybody’s requirements. Many other details like number of bedrooms available, schools and basic other amenities available nearby the location, etc. can also be accessed while searching for homes on these websites. Some of these websites also give the map view of the location so as to give the exact idea for the selection of home. These websites are none less than the Real estate online experts, who charge the most minimal amount compared to the other physically present realtors.

There are advanced listings of all the latest properties available on these websites, which are absolutely updated. Many other features of such websites, like their suggestions & advices regarding the types of properties to be chosen, points one should take care while choosing the property for selling, purchasing or renting, etc.

Reno is a worthwhile destination for connoisseurs as well as rowdy vacationers looking for a touch of local flavor. Here’s what to expect from some of the area’s best taphouses:

Great Basin Brewery (846 Victorian Ave., Sparks, greatbasinbrewingco.com) Perhaps the most respected microbrewery in Nevada, Great Basin generally offers four flagship beers and a rotating cast of six seasonal brews along with excellent fish and chips, shepherd’s pie and other gourmet bar grub. Beers such as the Ichthyosaur India Pale Ale continue to win national awards some 15 years after they were introduced. Don’t be deterred by the Sparks address — Great Basin is closer to the downtown Reno tourist area than many attractions, and on a summer night when the Sparks Hometowne Farmer’s Market is in full swing, it’s the best place around to grab a drink.

Sierra Tap House (253 West First St., myspace.com/sierrataphouse) The Sierra Tap House is the type of place that makes you remember why people have been going to bars for centuries. A smallish basement-level pub that faces the Truckee River, the Tap House is attractive, intimate and communal. In addition to serving a wide range of beers from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. that you’re unlikely to find elsewhere, the bar hosts social events such as trivia nights and home-brewed beer contests. It can get fairly crowded, but the general upbeat attitude means fights and other “college night” problems are rare.

Silver Peak Grill & Taproom (135 N. Sierra St. and 124 Wonder St., silverpeakbrewery.com) The two locations of this Reno stalwart tend to attract different crowds, but they share most of the same award-winning beers and upscale dishes. The Sierra Street venue draws a downtown club set interested in mingling, while the Wonder Street shop is geared more for dining and relaxing. Both feature outdoor dining during all but the coldest months, with the rooftop patio on Wonder Street being one of the most pleasant lunch spots in Reno. Silver Peak’s owners constantly emphasize that they are “a restaurant that makes its own beer” rather than just another bar, and indeed the food is good and unexpected. But the Red Roadster, Peavine Porter and the house IPA are the real stars here.

The Brew Brothers (345 N. Virginia Street inside the Eldorado casino, eldoradoreno.com) The Brew Brothers presents a conundrum to any beer fan. A Reno casino bar and grill that hosts frequent rock concerts and dance parties, it’s the sort of place locals love to hate — and yet, it’s always crowded with people having a good time. The beer selection, which may or may not pass through the copper-plated brewing equipment on full view in the bar area, is pretty standard microbrew fare and a definite step down from the brews mentioned elsewhere on this list — and yet, it constantly wins local “best of” contests. In short, you should go to Brew Brothers for the atmosphere and nightlife, and if you discover that you like the beer as well, that’s just gravy. A decent food menu is also available late into the night.

Shenanigans Olde English Pub (77 W. Plumb Lane) Generally agreed to be as close to an authentic English pub as you’re going to get in the middle of the West, Shenanigans imports many European beers and liquors and serves them in a relaxed environment. It may not be the best spot to find a date, but if you want to unwind with a Harp or a Guinness Double Stout while watching rugby, it’s perfect. The food is surprisingly good as well.

Becks Brew House (3611 King’s Row, becksbrewhouse.com) Becks Brew House, a new lounge retrofitted from a failed college bar, focuses on unusual beers from around the country, as well as outside of it. The decor now leans toward hardwood floors and leather furniture, and there are several distinct areas with different lighting and seating schemes. An advanced ventilation system designed to trap smoke in the smoking section without walling it off seems to work well.

Buckbean Brewing Co. (1155 S. Rock Blvd., buckbeanbeer.com) Buckbean Brewing Company is less than two years old and still focuses more on making and distributing beer than on creating a venue of its own. The brewery hosts frequent daytime tours and tastings of its Orange Blossom and Black Noddy brews, but to get them after hours, you’ll have to head to one of Buckbean’s client bars (check the Web site). You can also buy Buckbean canned at local grocery stores.

Reno Homebrewer (2335 Dickerson Road, renohomebrewer.com) For the most serious of beer fans, this is heaven. Reno Homebrewer has been training and equipping amateur brewers and vinters for decades, and several of the trainers have won national awards for their own creations. Since the shop is more a showroom than a bar, it’s best to call ahead, especially if you’re interested in taking a class. But for those interested in the art and science of making beer and wine, this is an unmissable stop.

Reno is the third-largest city in Nevada. Like its larger southern neighbor, Las Vegas, Reno is economically dependent on tourism, with many visitors arriving each week from California and other states to gamble in the city’s many casinos. However, other industries are also important, including higher education and gold mining. Reno is the largest city near Lake Tahoe, and the two destinations share much tourism traffic between them.

Morrison University in Reno offers accelerated programs in IT, management and accounting. At Morrison University, students receive high-quality instruction in some of the fastest-growing fields in America today. Because this is an independent education institution, this school is able to provide flexible scheduling. The academic programs that Morrison University offers focus on computer science, management and accounting. A Master of Business Administration program is also available. Classrooms are small and intimate, allowing students to receive extensive personal instruction. Students also have access to industry-approved facilities and software.

Reno is a place where often referred to as the adventure place of America. There is a wealth of recreational activities on offer within this area including lake mountain biking. There are a vast number of different biking trails within the area and these vary in length. There are some trails that are located near Lake Tahoe and also Sierra Nevada. The amount of possibilities for mountain bikers is actually endless within this area.

The area of Reno is located within the northern part of Nevada among the high desert. This weather within this area is also great for biking as they can be used all year round. The summer months in Reno are not too hot so you do not feel too hot to exercise and the area very rarely sees any snow during the winter months.

There are some wonderful lake mountain biking trails that circle Lake Tahoe. Biking within this area is a must for all keen mountain bikers. There are so many trails around this area that it is possible to do a different trail every single day, if you so wish.

As well as the lake mountain biking trails there is also a lot of urban biking trails. Some of the urban trails run across foothills and some climb the canyons and flats that are located within the northwestern part of Reno.

Biking within the area of Reno is excellent and can be enjoyed by all members of the family. There is a vast array of bike shops within the area so it is possible to get anything that you require to make your adventure memorable. One thing to always consider when choosing trails is the elevation as the area goes up to about six thousand feet but there are some places that are higher than this. It is best to take it easy when you first start mountain biking and gradually build up to the more adventurous trails.

Reno is the county seat of Washoe County, Nevada. The documented 2000 census reveals that Reno had a total population of 180,480, becoming the third largest city in Nevada, after Las Vegas and Henderson. Recent estimations place the population of the city at 207,000. Reno lies twenty-six miles north of the Carson City, which is Nevada’s state capital, and 22 miles north east of Lake Tahoe in the high desert. Reno is recognized as The Biggest Little City in the World. At here have five typical operations that you can join with pleasure.

The Great Reno Balloon Race

If you’re in the neighborhood when September rolls around, Reno features the Great Balloon Race at the Rancho San Rafael Park. A tradition for about 25 years, you don’t have to be a flight enthusiast to enjoy this sight, which is free for all to enjoy.

Enjoy the Water

Numerous seasonal and year-round outdoor activities are offered in Reno, especially when it comes to the local bodies of water. Three major marine gems are located in the city, including the Truckee River, Pyramid Lake, and Lake Tahoe. While swimming is a popular activity, locals and tourists also enjoy water-skiing, fishing, wakeboarding, parasailing, and jet-skiing. Visitors also flock to the Truckee River to enjoy a day of kayaking.

Enjoy the Snow

A trip to Reno in the winter brings you close to an enjoyable atmosphere that makes skiing and snowboarding a real joy. There are eight major ski resorts to consider paying a visit to, such as Diamond Peak, Alpine Meadows, and the Squaw Valley Ski Resort. The snow also allows ice-skating, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.

National Automobile Museum

To enjoy a walk into automotive history, this museum is the perfect place to visit, especially if you have a thing for old cars. Here, vehicles made in the late 19th century to beyond the 1960s are on display (many of which once belonged to the late casino owner, William Harrah). Some of the items you may come across include a V-16 Cadillac, as well as a Jeep SUV with a V-12 Ferrari engine.

Get Married

If you can’t wait a second longer to solidify the union between you and your sweetheart, then Reno has the solution. Quick marriages are offered in Reno, where no waiting period is required. Plus, if you are 18 years or older, you don’t need your parents permission to get hitched in Reno, which offers marriage licenses from 8am to midnight at the Washoe County Courthouse.
