Inside Reno: Nightlife
Reno is known for its nightlife. Casinos, shows, night clubs, music — the city has it all. Go dancing at hot spots like Alturas Bar & Nightclub, which is open 24 hours and offers pool tables, darts and live R & B music; Blue Max, with live music and karaoke; BuBinga Lounge, which earned the title “Best Place to Go Dancing” in Nevada Magazine; Club Underground; Club Voo Doo; and Sapphire Lounge, which features diva Clairdee, who sings blues, ballads and jazz improvisations.
For a more low-key, laid-back nighttime experience, there are also many options. Knuckleheads Sports Bar offers a place with live music and sports TVs, along with darts, juke box, pool tables, dancing and karaoke. Reno Jazz Club is a great place to hang out. Visitors can relax and listen to live jazz bands. Rum Bullions Island Bar is Reno’s only rum bar. Exotic rum drinks like the flaming Kava Kava and entertainment every night of the week, including dueling pianos and special theme nights.
Last but not least, the casinos offer a wide variety of nighttime entertainment. Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Siena Hotel Spa Casino, Peppermill Casino, Reno Hilton Casino, Boomtown Hotel-Casino, Harrah’s Reno Hotel & Casino, Circus Circus Hotel Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Eldorado Hotel/Casino are all located in Reno, and all offer exciting gaming, shows and activities daily.
